Kanz al-'Arsh (the Treasury of the Throne) supplication is a prayer made in reverence to the divine names of Allah Almighty. There is no definite information concerning the author of the supplication Kanz al-'Arsh, which is included in the three-volume compendium of invocations of figures associated with Sufism, Majmu'at al-Ahzab (Istanbul: 1311), compiled by Gümüşhaneli Shaykh Ahmed Ziya'üddin, which also contains the Jaushan al-Kabir and other supplications, and with which Bediuzzaman was familiar. Also, Kanz al-'Arsh is mentioned in Bediüzzaman’s Rumuzât-ı Samâniyya, Barla Letters and Emirdağ Letters as a source of blessings.
Here is the translation of the supplication:
"The King (Malik), the Truth (Haqq), the Manifest (Mubîn): There is no god but Allah. The Arbiter (Hakam), the Just (Adl), the Most Strong (Mateen): There is no god but Allah. He is our Lord and the Lord of our forefathers. There is no god other than You, Glory be unto You! Indeed, I was among the wrongdoers. There is no god but Allah. He has no partner. His is the dominion. His is the praise. He gives life and causes death. He is the Living One, the Everlasting. Good is in His control, and return is to Him. And He has power over all things. And we seek help through Him. The power to do good and avoid evil comes only from Allah, the Exalted, the All-Knowing.
In gratitude for His blessings, there is no god but Him. In acknowledgement of His Lordship, there is no god but Him. To purify His majesty, Allah is free from all imperfections.
O Allah! O Lord! For the sake of the name written on Gabriel's wing, for the sake of the name written on Michael's wing, for the sake of the name written on Israfil's forehead, in the honour of the name written in Azrael's palm, and in the honour of the names Munkar and Nakir which You have given, and in the honour of the secrets of Your servants with You, in the honour of the name with which You completed Islam, and in the honour of the name with which Adam addressed You when he learned it from You and was sent down from Paradise, and You accepted it,
In the name of the name by which Şît called out to you, in the name of the name by which you strengthened the angels who carry the Throne, in the name of the name written in the Torah, the Gospel, the Psalms, and the Furqan, in the name of the name by which you bestowed your mercy upon your servants forever, in the name of all your words,
For the sake of the name by which Abraham called upon You when he was thrown into the fire, and the fire became cool and safe, for the sake of that name; for the sake of the name by which Ismael called upon You when he was being slaughtered, and You saved him from being slaughtered, for the sake of that name; for the sake of the name by which Isaac implored You, and You fulfilled his needs, for the sake of that name; For the sake of the name by which Hûd called upon You, For the sake of the name by which Jacob prayed to You and You restored his eyesight and his children to him,
David, by what name did he call upon You that You made him a viceroy on earth and softened iron in his hands? It is for the sake of that name, Solomon, by what name did he pray to you that you made him king of the earth? It is for the sake of that name, Job, by what name did he call upon you that you delivered him from his afflictions? It is for the sake of that name,
Jesus, son of Mary, by what name did he call upon you that you raised the dead with him? It is for the sake of that name, By the name with which Moses called upon You, and You spoke to him on Mount Sinai, by the honour of that name, By the name with which Pharaoh's wife Asiya called upon You, and You provided for her in Paradise, by the honour of that name, By the name with which the Children of Israel called upon You, and You parted the sea for them, by the honour of that name,
By the name with which Khidr called out to you and made you walk on water, I ask of you in the honour of that name; by the name with which Muhammad, peace be upon him, called out to you in the cave and you saved him, I ask of you in the honour of that name. Undoubtedly, you are generous and great. Allah is sufficient for us. What a beautiful guardian He is. The power and strength to do good and to avoid evil come only from the Exalted and Great Allah. May Allah support our master Muhammad, his family, and his companions, and grant them security! AMEN"
